Breed: Pug Mix
Owner: Kyle Thome - Sioux Falls, SD
Koryo passed in his owner’s arms on the morning of
11/04/2015 at the age of 12 year. He was cremated the same day for his
ashes to be spread amongst new friends at Forever Friends Pet Cemetery
in South Dakota. This moment and every moment since his adoption is a
memory that will last forever.
Since his adoption as a puppy, Koryo has been by his
side as his best and closest companion. Koryo never discriminated,
never judged, and never hated. He was always loving, always loyal, and
was always there for his owner. Whenever his owner was sad or upset,
Koryo always knew a way to bring a smile to his face and also a smile
to the faces of those around him.
Koryo always tried to act tougher than he actually
was. He truly was a scaredy cat, but that is another attribute that
was loved about him. Whenever the outside water hose was turned on to
water the yard, he would always run and hide behind the grill. He
loved lounging as he was a very mellow and calm pet. Koryo had one
major trait that made him stand out which was his loveable snaggle
tooth.
In late May of 2015, Koryo became ill, which caused
the need for hospitalization of a week. Koryo knew how to stay strong
and fight. He never wanted to give up as he knew he always needed to
be by his owner’s side. Despite moving from his home of almost twelve
years in Texas, Koryo knew he had to be with his best friend who had
to move because of school. Koryo did his best to continue to cheer him
up through tough and difficult times through his owner’s life. Despite
Koryo’s ailments, he continued to be there with his owner, his true
best friend. Alas, however, Koryo’s ailments finally started to catch
up with him despite continued medical treatments. Despite the fight in
Koryo’s heart, he left us all too soon.
Though Koryo is gone physically, he is not gone in
spirit. He will surely never be forgotten. Koryo will always be in the
heart of his best friend and in the hearts of his family for the rest
of their lives. Koryo will never stop giving his owner strength to
press forth and succeed, through his education and through his
life.
I love you buddy and will always love you.
